Vegetable Transplants
Each year we produce roughly 10,000,000 vegetable transplants for our fields and the fields of other customers. We direct seed into plastic disposable trays that range in size from 128 to 338 seeds per tray. Orders must be placed well in advance of ship date, and seed must be provided by the customer.
Wholesale Vegetables
During the summer months, we produce a variety of vegetables for our wholesale customers. Broccoli, cucumbers, bell peppers, summer squash, tomatoes, and eggplant have been our main focus in recent years.
Seesholtz Garden Center
Our Garden Center boasts a diverse selection of plants, pots, and garden supplies. Hanging baskets, planters, perennials, bedding plants, herb plants, vegetable plants, fruit trees, and shrubs, can be purchased there from mid-April through mid-July.
About us
After attending college and getting married, Mindy and Alan Kemmerer purchased the farm in 1991. They began raising a family and 50 acres of vegetables. At present, the children are involved in producing 300 acres of vegetables and 300 acres of grain crops annually. The third generation is young, but can often be found checking out what’s happening at the farm.
